We most certainly have default emotes in RL. They are called expected behaviors. For example, people are expected to respect the aggrieved party's loss at an American funeral by speaking in a quiet tone and through peer pressure amazingly most people speak quietly in such settings--by default.

RL just happens to once again have a far more robust system in place.
