Circle Calculator for Proposed (Version 3) Reqs 05/06/2008 02:34 AM CDT
I have posted an app to check out the new circle requirements. You can get the ranks required for any rank from 1 to 150 and check your progress against the reqs by pasting in your current exp.

I'm not sure if this has already been done but my <limited> searching didn't turn anything up.

You can reach the app via the following URL: http://zephyriadr.googlepages.com

That was an uncalled for and snarky comment. Especially since you didn't even bother to enlighten her as to where a calculator might be found.

Zephy, Zarius has a calculator on his site now. Choose "New Ranger" to view where you stand against the proposed new reqs.

Funny, I even checked his site, but I didn't scroll down the list far enough to see the new reqs. Oh well, I was looking for a project to play with LINQ to XML and this seemed like a good place to start.

You can also reach the calculator from the following link: http://dragnstudio.com.

If anyone thinks it would be fun to do some 'what if' type calculating, I was thinking of allowing the skill reqs at each level to be manually adjusted.

I like this new calc.

Is it possible to set it up so we can change which skill it uses for a specific req? I.e. I'm going to be passing forage up with swim, and would rather swap their locations in the calc to see what this does to my circling.

Granted.. already have an excel file I do this in. so, no worries. just a thought as you were contemplating changes =)

You obviously didn't realize you don't matter.

A good work around for it this is to set the skill you're not interested to some lower value before you paste it. Just copy the skills into notepad and do the edit before you do the paste into the calculator.

Welcome back Zeph,

With that said, you don't have a link to your old Dragon Pad prgram do ya. Loved that thing.

Hey Nuich,

DragnPad is still being rebuilt, but I built a web browser based version of it. You can find it at..

Let me know what you think. There's a feedback form at the website.

Hey Zephy! I've been a WPF developer for the last 2 years. Glad to see other people picking it up.

Nice calculator! (I still need to update my skill differ ... someday I'll get to it.)
