...and one that really isn't related to Rangers, but this is really the only forum I read. Is there a way to set my avatar to an image that have and not one of the ones that are in the list that they give you and if so how does one go about that.

In short, no.

You can send your images in and try to have them added to the 'official' list, but that's about it.

I seem to remember the original Soim had a custom avatar. But other than something very special, you'll have to use one of the offered ones.

The good news is that there is such a large selection to choose from.
