The goal was/is from the ranger GM's to provide as many titles to incorporate the vastly different diversity between rangers. All the River titles reflect swimming, Mountain titles reflect Climbing, Foraging generally reflected Forest, most (not all) nature titles required those three and some others.

I personally thought Natural Assassin was a pretty generous title since I don't see rangers as Assassins. We just happen to be good at assassinating as well, not as good as a thief but still good.

Oh, i know full well. It was both a not-so-subtle hint, and a lament for titles in that vein yet to come. After Hunter, there's only 1 or 2 guild titles i'm actually looking forward to.

Yes yes, this is were the GMs chime in with 'that's why there's different categories'. Yes, i realize that. And i'm sorry if i'm raining on anyone's parade, or diminishing someone's hard work, but..

Shield Dilettante, Leather Armor Dilettante, Light Chain Dilettante, Parry Dilettante, Multi-Opponent Dilettante, Long Bow Dilettante, Light Thrown Dilettante, Brawling Dilettante, Primary Magic Dilettante, Mana Harnessing Dilettante, Power Perception Dilettante, Magical Devices Dilettante, Evasion Dilettante, Climbing Dilettante, Perception Dilettante, Scouting Dilettante, Hiding Dilettante, Stalking Dilettante, First Aid Dilettante, Foraging Dilettante, Skinning Dilettante, Swimming Dilettante, Scholarship Dilettante, Mechanical Lore Dilettante, Appraisal Dilettante, Teaching Dilettante, Animal Lore Dilettante...

All stupid. Same with every Skill-level based title until Genius or so. Even those are debatable.

I dunno. I just wish there were more Ranger titles to look forward to. The entire title system is in place, i can't imagine it would be that difficult to plug more titles in (this goes for any category). But now i'm regressing into pure nay-saying.
