Thats a good point.
I guess when I think of a "bane" I think of someone who's out to destroy said subject entirely. As hunters, we kill routinely, but in the idea to bring balance or protect in some form. Life bane comes across to me as a ranger out to destroy life, not merely just kill some as necessity arises. That's just how it struck me I guess. Something I would expect to call a necromancer I suppose.
