For now, those of you who have these boxes (whether the ones that freeze meat decay or the ones that only delay the decay) please don't SMELL the meat while it's in the box.

It appears that if you do, you stop the freeze/cooling process and may not see the best behavior from your box (i.e. it won't work). This is somewhat a problem with the code and we will be keeping this in mind when companions are rewritten.

For now, if you want to check on the status of your meat, take it out of the box before smelling, that's all.
