Just curious if there is a specific reason that trails cannot cross natural barriers, or if the answer is just "because that's what was decided when trails came out". The more I think about it, the more I strongly feel that with appropriate skill checks we should be able to cross rivers and the undergondola. Basically I can't think of anything we shouldn't be able to cross other then the Ocean and possibly large lakes. The precedent has already been set with Passages and teleport/moongate, and I can't really think of an appropriate explanation as to why our trails can't do the same? I wouldn't think it could be a balance issue, trails already take longer then if you were to just turn on a travel script, and I would never want them to be as quick as casting a spell.

Two hours later now and the trails are back in place. It appears everthing is ok and back to how it was before.
