Since last names when married can be shared, could they be possibly givin out as a gift from the assisted weddings maybe? Something tied to the ring/torque ect.
Not all of us follow a code. That much is evident.
If you mean giving out last names as a gift, I'm afraid that'd step on too many toes wouldn't work with the upcoming system. :)
