I did all of that. I've been doing all of that for a couple of weeks now. But it's still buggy because after the statue falls out of the niche, it still remains in the niche.
You've got the atmo messaging of not having a fire lit. If you do in fact have one lit, I suspect that's part of the bugginess, as well. I may take a stab at getting one and seeing if I can figure out the issue.
