As the next step in my language project, I've added the Gorbesh dictionary. The following player-compiled dictionaries are now available:

http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Gamgweth_Lexicon

http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Gerenshuge_Lexicon

http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Gorbesh_Lexicon

Thanks!

My goal is to create user-friendly dictionaries for all of the racial dictionaries. Some languages are easier to do than others depending on how fragmented the sources are and how the books are formatted. (The S'Kra dictionary contains a lot of speculation, for example, because many of the words have been released in posts outside of official language books, and some that we have encountered have no official translation.)

Afterwards, I am going to clean up the race pages (in particular, the category and race association tag).

Not meaning to add to your plate or anything, but have you considered adding a fast "grammar table" to the bottom of each lexicon?

I'd love a quick reference for how to translate words into other words (e.g. bake into baker). Books usually have this but you kind of have to dig through explanations and examples.

Or maybe there could be another column for these words next to the original word. (Tons of work I know -- like I said, not trying to add, just saying something I would use.)

Currently, I am just linking to the grammar books if they are present. (Typically, I have both pages open if I am trying to make my own words or phrases.)

I can't say that I (or another player) wouldn't add grammar content in the future, but right now my focus is on getting the dictionaries online and uniformly formatted. (The latter still needs some work, even in the dictionaries I've posted.)
