Question on Stone Clan and the BOOK 10/06/2016 12:55 PM CDT

Long ago there was an area accessible by a crevice at the back of Stone Clan. For the first time in YEARS I tried to get back there. The Crevice is locked. When and why was it locked? It was a great RP aid area. At least for the people that knew its origin and history. What happened and will it be accessable again in the future?

Clan fathers felt it would be a good idea to lock it all down, considering how the book was lost the last time.

Earlier on with the current Elpalzi storyline, there was a concentrated effort to attack the clan.

stone clan doesn't even have the book anymore, right? sidhlot ran south with a book after sorrow bit it and then thru garbled necro dev that actual book turned into a man named book. derp!

but yea, stone clan used to be THE place for the absolute best in the most god-awful storebaught equipment that would haunt anyones nightmares.

what people THINK happened to the book is not what happened. What happened to it, I wont say but the information I know about it I got from Hegemonic, Redarch, Worrclan and Bubbinster. Remember what people see is what they expect to see. Not what actually appeared to have happened.

So, the books Sidhlot had were removed from the library in Sorrow's Keep, not 'the' book, that's a separate story.

Further, "that" book, and this book are totally unrelated.

Not really, no. Zamidren Book is not the result of any mashups, or anything to do with Sidhlot or Sorrow. If you have any questions on him, I could answer over in the Necro folders, since his history is so ICly public it doesn't fall under the secrets policy.

Now that you mention it, I would like a quick lore-primer on each of the guilds in an OOC kind of way. The secret history of the moon mage guild, dark history of the empath guild, background of the necro guild leaders, etc... If you can't do that for whatever reason, then a maybe at least a guide for in-game reading / quest order to find the answers.

None of the guild histories are really secretive save for the Thieves and Necros.

and it would be advisable NOT to ask about them. ESPECIALLY IG. Bad things tend to happen. Thats no threat, In all likelihood it wouldnt be a PC that gives a pointed warning.

That said, this seems to have gone a bit off topic. If nothing else about the book room is available, can we let the thread go?
