Unfortunately, I have issues with most terminology for trying to describe this group.

Geek - technically someone who bites the heads off of chickens
Dork - to me, has the connotation of someone with a negative attitude (much too close to "jerk")
Gamer - if you know any real gamers, you'd know this isn't us
Roleplayers - closer, but still only accurate for some of us

Got any better suggestions for people with an unhealthy affinity to a text-based role-playing environment?

Oh and what makes this extra funny -

I just got back from Halloween Shopping. Big deal in my girlfriends family, and every year about this time we have a campout(this weekend). Big Event, lots of people, lots of decorations, prizes for costumes, big party, lots of fun. Anyway, last year we decided to do a Parade of our camp site. Dominga and I were Gypsies! HAH! That was great! This year, the two of us and her parents are doing a Pirates of the Carribean theme, so I'm being the evil pirate who's name I can't remember. The one with the monkey.

Anyway, we were looking for a coat, and the best thing we found was Morpheous' longcoat, so thats what I got! Hah! Beautiful...

Anyway, isn't this supposed to be a complaints folder? On that topic...


When are we going to be seeing bits of Prydaenese poke out of the woodwork. And maybe those verbs Chisoni started on oh so long ago? How I miss Chisoni...Shakahn just beats me up whenever he sees me...
