I have not heard about advanced jousting lessons, so I'm not sure about that.

However, I did attempt at 35 to learn advanced riding from Suru and I was too inexperienced, so I probably have to wait until 40 for that, unless I should keep trying every circe? After that I have not checked with a bard to see if I can learn Grab yet, since I don't want to bother somebody if I can't learn yet. Does anybody know for sure what circle you must be for these lessons? The sites I've seen have a question mark next to them, so I can't find a definite answer anywhere.

As Praxis said.. most lessons are at 40th circle. Some, as you discovered can be as low as 35th. NONE are at 36, 37, etc so don't worry about trying at each circle. If you can't learn at 35th.. the next opportunity will be 40th.
