I just recently was able to get this amazing spell - and it works wonders on the incorporeal death spirits that I'm training lock picking with. The only issue I'm having is that this spell doesn't extend to ranged weapons? I mean, it's great I can use all 8 of the melee weapons I have, including my fists, but the minute I want to throw a hammer or bola or use a bow weapon...

Was this an oversight for the spell? Can this be arranged to work if the paladin has Bond Armaments as well, or just plain work with ranged weapons? What's the limitation to it? Can we make it based off soul pool or something along those lines?

If I have to use a cleric spell (bless) to use ranged weapons on death spirits and the like, while being a "holy avenger" - there's no point in even training on these types of creatures.
