I know there are now standards available, not sure about back banners. But how about once Lead gets finalized, have Standards and Back Banners give a boost to lead?

Nice idea but dont really want to use up a back or shoulder slot for a standard

Good idea. And if ya don't want to use the spot, then don't. It's a boost.

Another great idea,

>>But how about once Lead gets finalized, have Standards and Back Banners give a boost to lead?

That's an excellent idea. When banners were first released, the "wave banner" result made me think it should do that too... boost lead.

To GAIN this benefit, you must RISK. You must have only the banner in your hands as you advance into combat. You LEAD, then wave the banner to get the added boost. Assuming you lead when facing very dangerous foes that a group needs lead to defeat, closing to pole or melee with just the banner in your hands is a significant risk. THEN you can put away the banner and draw your regular weapon and begin your fight.

If this is too risky for you, you can choose to forgo the added boost by playing it safe and advancing with the weapon and shield drawn and ready.

Not so sure about the complete risk factor of having both hands holding just the standard. But maybe having to hold it in the left hand with no shield.

Could always sub a war horn to work in somewhat the same manner.

this concept was suggested about two years ago. All agreed it was a good idea. Just not taken to the game reality.

Yeah, would be nice though, if a Standard, Back Banner or a War Horn could be used to give a boost to Leadership.
