Does glyph of warding prevent creatures from targeting the paladin? For example, to prevent a Scout Ogre from shooting me with its crossbow?

It's unclear on Elanthipedia (https://elanthipedia.play.net/Glyph_of_Warding) what "living person" refers to: a player character or any living entity in the game.

> When traced on a living person, this glyph prevents an assailant from aiming ranged weapons or targeting spells.

It prevents AIM and TARGET, not FIRE and CAST, if that's your question.

It can be powerful in the right context since it prevents the accuracy bonuses from targeting and aiming and forces a "snap-shot" but doesn't literally prevent ranged attacks, and thus isn't particularly using against casting or bow-using mobs.
