Would like to praise Redarch for the way he handles himself both in game, and on these boards. He is a shining example for any Paladins to follow. I have never seen him become angry, resort to stupid banter, or do anything that a good Paladin wouldn't do. He has been of great assistance during invasions and is always eager to help.

May the gods reward you for your never-ending efforts to make Elanthia a better place. Your good deeds have been noticed, and appreciated, and your honor cannot be questioned. I will follow you into battle any time.

Redarch has always been a good friend and mentor to Madigan. Leading by example is not easy but I think Redarch does it better than anyone.

I'm inclined to agree with you Madigan.

On a side note, he falls asleep alot in the guild...must be old age, the poor dwarf, nae worry though, I'm always happy to volunteer in bopping him on da old noggin to awaken the sleeping beauty, just so he can shine again ::grins::

Greetings,

I too would like to enter my voice into the chorus of praise for Paladin Designate Redarch. While my name is far from well known, I think it should be stated that I, Deutz Anadeuz, have attempted in all ways to follow the example set forth by him and will conintue to do so ad infinitum.

Thank you,

Deutz

Redarch has always been a shining example of what a paladin is.

Ye did a fine job last night leadin the group up at Rossmans. Not only did ye keep the prince safe but ye achieved the objective. Granted my objective was a bit different in wanting to keep the prince safe primarily since he was on the baron's lands. It was a pleasure to follow ye into battle and ye have a fine group even if they are from the south my friend. Ye leadin the battle last night was a prime example of what Paladin truely is. Ye have my thanks for a Job WELL DONE. It was a pleasure to serve with ye.

I second this statement. A wonderful job, done with the upmost courtesy and respect. I was talking with a Ranger friend of mine and he was saying how Paladins have a somewhat bad rep, it's good to know that there are still shining lights in the impending darkness.

Paladins have a "bad rep" because folks have unrealistic expectations of what a Paladin should do for them, personally.

Cadderly,

As I said a bit ago on the Cleric boards. I appear to be one of the minority that do NOT think clerics should be "stashed" in the triage areas.

Clerics joined to a Paladin.. casting boosting spells AND fighting, just as we do, make for a tremendous team.. actually far more effective than a Paladin and just about any other guild.

To my brethren who may not have taken time to cultivate solid friendships with clerics, may I sincerely suggest ya make some.. and go hunting with them. I think you'll be rather surprised at how well ya do.

As for your kind words about the battle outside Rossman's, I'm glad I came across as competent.. but to tell the truth.. I felt like I was running around like a headless chicken.. trying to find the Prince.. trying to find the bad guys.. trying to find Ciroce.. etc..etc..etc <grin>.

It was gratifying to finally find everyone.. say "Join me" because Ciro had just tossed herself in front of that charging mammoth to protect the prince (WELL DONE by the way Ciroce).. and get that number of folks to latch on.

Find me in the Realms sometime and I'll be happy to talk about the tactics the Prince suggested to us at the start that seemed to have worked very well last night.

Actually I think Ciroce jumped in front of a mammoth twice to protect the Prince, as did many others. Redarch and Ciroce both did a fine job last night. My helm is off to you both.

For Redarch and the player thereof;

I can't express how much I appreciated your help on the quest. Your patience, kindness, wisdom and RP'ing Redarch in such a huge caring way deserves a special honor. Taking the time to let us discover the little things around us, and for genuinely being all I believe you wanted your Paladin to portray leaves my mere Thank-You for your time rather pale.

I hope the powers that be are keeping track like they did of markers marks, because I believe the Red Knight deserves a little memorial out in that evil swamp. I hope you are keeping track!

Again, thank you so very much.

I have to add my 2 lirums and say, Redarch has and still does, hold a high place of admiration with me. Blah, I just ruined my rep! Okay, no one tell him I just said that and I'll go get drunk like a good little Olvi bard.

I just hope he at least charged the half a keg standard fee for escort services. He keeps going like this and he is goin to put us shamans to shame not to mention give us withdraws if we can't have our booze.....

He is a really great guy, Awesome to have with you during an invasion, a great hunting partner, and his best asset is he is a pretty durn good drinking partner to boot. One of the few folks that we actually welcome into the swamps on a regular bases, and are glad he is around. Redarch is a good friend and a noble tin man by anyone's standerds...

I'd like to add in my praise as well. Redarch stands for exactly what a paladin should be and is. I was amazed at the time he spent helping my cleric though both the raise quest and the infuse quest (the most annoying and buggy quest ever). We could use more players like him, for sure.
