I'm having trouble accessing materials in cold storage.

An empty space, ready for a specimen.

Don't blame you for being a bit confused. It's not immediately obvious what you need to do. You need to interact with your key to change which slot of the locker you're accessing. You can study the locker and the key for more details, but I'll post them here too.
>study locker
You think that you could do the following things to the locker:
PUT SPECIMEN IN LOCKER: Stores a butchered specimen in the locker.
OPEN LOCKER: Shows the current specimen that's inside the locker.
PULL LOCKER: Retrieves the current specimen from the locker.
LOOK LOCKER: Shows all current specimens stored in the locker.
CLEAN LOCKER: Removes and discards all specimens from the locker.
>study key
Examining the key closely, you think it's the key to a locker for cold storage of usable body parts.
The key has not been used yet.
You think you could TURN the key to cycle through the contents of your locker.
You can also TURN your key TO a number to go to that slot in the locker.
You think you could RUB the key to find out what's in the current slot of your locker.
You also think you could PUSH the key to hide it from view while wearing it.
You also think that you could PULL LOCKER to retrieve a body part while at the locker.
