I love [to hug] my soft and squishy mudman but I sometimes wish he were less squishy. It may be just me but any time I'd like to hunt anything near my level with QE, the mudman dies in a few hits. My mudman brings utility with its stun, which is especially powerful when supporting a zombie and me, but against more heavily armed critters it lasts barely long enough to stun anything even once.

It's important to note that my definition of "anything near my level" is something I can dance with four of (at the edge of skill) without buffs and kill with snap casts of STRA. Although I'm guessing 3.0 will make this easier with our pet buffs, I thought I'd share in case either I'm doing something wrong or in the off chance their mud armor might receive a little hardening before 3.0.

It would be cool if mudmen could get those there-but-not shields/parry sticks (or whatever) that mobs like dillos and glass constructs have (maybe with enough skill?). It would help them last a lot longer if they could do more than just evade.
