Combat Ritual Knife 03/27/2013 06:17 PM CDT
So, I was alerted to something interesting the other day:

This is a weapon knife. This is also a wearable skinning/ritual knife. This contradicts

and

I assume this probably wasn't thought of when they were created, and I'm curious whether it's important enough to do anything about.

Yes, it probably wasn't thought about. I'm not sure how much concern I have at the moment, though.

Just curious, but was it tested to work on rituals? You're able to use a wide variety of knives/weapons to skin, but I think rituals require whatever tag belt knives have attached to them.

The teeth lands a solid (5/23) hit that pokes the teeth into Turul's rear end (more embarrassing than painful!).

Yes, I specially enlisted the help of a necromancer to test it.

Ritual knives that double as weapons in combat are no longer suitable for Necromancer rituals and will give an appropriate error message if you try. Caveat emptor.

Oh No! my weapon of no damage worth mentioning got nerfed!

Preferential Treatment! Hax! PvP: Closed! Ragequit!

P.S. I am crying inside.

"Burn him! Burn him!" You hear the cries echo around you as everyone in the vicinity suddenly moves away, giving you a wide berth! It goes without saying you'll be wanted for forbidden practices in The Rakash Village.
