All prediction tools use the exact same core code for determining a fumble and applying a bonus/curse. I cay say for certain that the core, and the maths within that determine whether or there is a fumble, were not touched as part of the conversion.

Several factors do factor into fumble rates, however, including the overall physical qualities of the tool. Because of this, high-end tools from an auction, or event end prize, will likely have different fumble rates than the tools sold at Guildfest because of craftsmanship differences. Any tool sold at Guildfest would have the exact same chance to fumble as any other tool sold at Guildfest, which is still a bit less than tools from the sect shops.
