My guess is that Nomads have perception/skinning and Pethians also have perception. HH and CC probably share scholarship. Can't think of what Pethians and Monks might share skillwise.
I'll bet good money that the Astro sect is Fortune's Path.

I'd expect that all the skills are secondary so no primary(arcana)

i'm guessing that the "fake" thief titles also correspond to the sect requirements. at least for tezarite, as i have many of those with my thief <stealth-heavy> so hiding/stalking is a given there. Heritage house i'm guessing scholarship and teaching, as i also have many of those <my thief is very teaching-heavy also>. I'm not particularly skinning heavy, although i haven't neglected such per se, but some of the upper levels i'm guessing nomads have i might not. for fotune's path... being somehwere - usually involves some sort of travel, so maybe climbing? swimming?

The problem here is that there aren't any other "research oriented" skills, really. Maybe Teaching, but that would be very awkward when Teachership becomes Academics.

After more investigation of new titles, it appears that not only did I lose Ascetic, but I seem to have none of the Crystal Hand titles beyond the first one (Sophister). If Ascetic is third tier, I would think I would at least have second tier by now, and first tier if there is one other than Sophister, even if I am not focusing on the right skills. I do not really want the other ones, I just want Ascetic back, but not having any by my circle leaves me confused.

For Nomads, the titles missing from these lists is Sciomancer.

Ok so assuming the top tier titles for each sect have comparable reqs and that HH uses scholarship, then they're all going to need somewhere over 800 ranks to get them.

Also as a note. I can confirm that Nomads need skinning as a requirement. Going from 99 to 100 skinning got me Spiritualist.

I have at least one other Monk of the Crystal hand I can use to compare your skills to and they are not too far off from what circle you would be.
If you send me your stats and exp all to my play.net addy I can help figure it out for you.
I've gotten enough clues from Raesh that I believe I can pin-point the missing skill. Just make sure you leave a note stating that you want it for the monk titles.
Most of the top-tier sect titles I've gained have been from Thieves(very high circle ones). They seem to have issues reproducing the -mancer titles though.

Currently all the sect skill reqs are in fact secondary. That's more coincidence then any grand plan (though if they had been tert or primary I would have adjusted the value).
800 is too high.
I'm not surprised the thieves are having trouble with the prediction based titles. I consistently subbed it the same way, but it was not a particularly forgiving substitution (whereas in general I was fairly lenient for them filling other reqs).

My crystal hand monk has these titles: Sophister, Monk, Ascetic, Crystallomancer, Photomancer.
222 perception, 192 evasion. Other skills that might help, are 274 scholarship, 232 teaching. Just in case stats are used he has 45 disc, 50 intel. If you need any more infomation, please post a request.

Does that mean I'm incorrect in thinking you need over 800 in something to get the last sect title (and presumably I'm missing something else)? Or did you mean 800 is too high and you'd like to see it revised down?

Well, I am lost at what else it may require. Its possible it will require weapons, but I thnk it was already said that the reqs just happened to end up being only from secondary skill sets. Must be something else we are missing.

If you'd give more of your lores and survivals it'd be easier to figure out which skill it is. I'm pretty sure the stat is Disc.
Also remember that the skill is shared with the Pethians.

It sounds like even 750 was more than enough for any of them, so I'm pretty sure he meant you need to look at a different skill.

I'd say 700.

I did, in fact, mean the req was less than 800.
Since you guys seem to have hit on it I'll confirm that 700 is the value for a secondary skill for a 5th tier sect title.
