I wish I could survive Moon Mage Mental Blasts. Asrion and Nilassa scramble my brains every time and I'm losing places to point stat points into :(

Charisma: 99

Is there some WvW aspect I'm not considering? Just having a tough time figuring out how to not get owned by Mental Blast :P

Or, maybe they just have 99 in all three stats.

Int would have been a better choice for WvW defense.

Having said that, given equal WvW scores defender is always at a disadvantage anyway, because you can't put more mana into resisting the spell (without a barrier). Keep in mind this same fact works to your great advantage with enchantes, and two people with capped stats should always be able to affect each other. The alternative would be to require a capped spell to affect someone "at level" and this would make WvW nearly worthless.

Even with 99 int you're probably not going to be winning the MB contest against a MM roughly your size.

Perhaps ironically, the key to you beating MB is the same ability that MMs use to become immune to most of your Bard stuff.
