In my experience, something has changed to the amount of EXP these actions give, and it happened in the last few months. It was my experience that perceiving a moon would give more EXP when the moon was down, or you were indoors, unable to see it--as if the act of focusing your senses through the planet or other obstacles was helping you learn more.

Has the timer on these actions changed any from ~5 minutes?
