Perceive Watchers vs Clairvoyance 03/16/2016 11:46 PM CDT
PERCEIVE WATCHERS - Checks the room for clairvoyant spying, such as the Distant Gaze spell. Can also be typed as PERCEIVE CLAIRVOYANCE.

A shimmering mirror of shadows appears momentarily in the air above, briefly revealing Growlyn's face.

(~2 to 4 seconds later I perceived)

>per watc
You sense no clairvoyance in the area.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
>per clairv
You can sense Growlyn watching the area through some means of clairvoyance.
Roundtime: 2 sec.

(Then a few minutes later I tried again and both caught it)

>per watch
>
You can sense Growlyn watching the area through some means of clairvoyance.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
>per clairvoy
You can sense Growlyn watching the area through some means of clairvoyance.
Roundtime: 2 sec.

Any idea why the first Perc Watch would fail to catch the clairvoyance? Does SHM pulse and it just hadn't pulsed for my initial perceive to register?

SHM does pulse so it can update the targets location if they move but I would assume when they first peer mirror it should set the flag immediately. Did you move between their face appearing and the first perceive command maybe? If not then maybe it doesnt set that flag until the spell does the first update pulse.
