Can someone enlighten me on some knowledge of tinctures that is already available?

I was looking to do some research into potency, number of pulses, etc. but wasn't going to take all the time if somebody already had a lot of that information.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I notice that tincture have the same first and last pulse issue where it doesn't give any visible indication it worked through your body other than your wound severity changes.

I also remember someone saying mech skill played a part in final tincture potency, so I am wondering if my low mech makes it pointless for me to even be the mixer?

My view on tinctures is that on balance, it's not worth the work.

Currently by far the best herbal cure is a fresh (unalchemized and undried) precise herb dug up by a high-skill forager, with Sprout cast on it. Watch those wounds melt away.

Mech certainly has a hand in it, Kythryn has the best information I've found on potentcy, Clem. Another good read is going back to the earliest posts in the alchemy folder here and rereading what people were testing back then. I wouldn't be suprised if that were the last time it was studied seriously by a group of people.

If you'd like to see what my tinctures look like I'd be happy to provide some for experiments, you know where to find me ^^
