What's past origami critters? Seems like there might be a 50 skill gap between origami creatures and gargoyles unless I'm missing something?

Try boggles.

Unfortunately, there's still a gap between origami/boggles and granite gargoyles. For weapon training, you pretty much have to listen to classes or wait until your stats (and melee mastery if you have that from pre-3.0 brawling) let you overcome it.

That's really unfortunate, I probably just choose to go null shocked for the gap and quest my way out of it. And Necromancer's think they have a hard time LOL...

I'd love to see some alternative use empaths have for weapons. The construct ladder is one option, but it'd be so much nicer if there was... something else do with weapons for Empaths, so they didn't have to seek out constructs to train the games largest skillset.

My Necromancer absolutely let weapons fall behind TM/Stealth/Evasion, which I think is pretty par for the course, but still trains a bunch of weapons as TDP generators. My Empath has by far the least amount of TDPs of any of my characters :(

What if there were non-violent maneuvers that could be done with weapons? What if there were additional combat Lores?

As a side note, brine sharks are constructs!

Post 3.0 I was able to go from boggles to granite gargs. It's just slow and inefficient weapon training.

If your interest is efficient weapon training and you're willing to give up manipulation, PHing and empathy through classes go the perma-shock route. You can recover sufficient empathy to get limited use of those abilities with one successful quest taking under 6 hours of playing time without ever leaving Forfedhdar.

How exactly are any type of sharks a construct?

Read the page on them, it explains it pretty clearly.

Salute a drowned sailor? You ought to brush up on your protocol, Kasto.

Are brine sharks going to be around after Hollow Eve? (Invasion creatures can be fun, but they're rarely around long enough or consistently enough to be a training mob.)

If anyone's interested, it took roughly 3 hours to go from pristine to null-shock in 3.0
