Knock myself out with Nissa's binding? I know there are empaths that can cast it without putting themselves to sleep.

Whats it take to not put yourself to sleep? Is it a stat (such as discipline/charisma) or primary (now Life Magic) magic.

First time I casted it, was pretty funny. Didn't die, but being as I'm in platinum there aren't any bigger up empaths to ask these types of things at the moment.

You need a certain amount of PM to be able to stuff sufficient mana into it in order to avoid sleeping yourself.

Szrael was first able to somewhere between 230 - 240 PM. I always min prep and then harness on top of that. It's best to fully prepare NB, as it's really hard to snap it and you're likely to sleep yourself if you try.

If you have awaken you can pre-cast awaken and then cast NB. The awaken should kick in and wake you up before your target does. Theoretically, anyway!
