Just an FYI. Sarkranis is definitely not Reene's alt, and you'd know that if you ever bothered to interact with Sarkranis.

The character Sarkranis is an Empath who doesn't take crap from people however, which apparently is all that is required to peg someone as one of Reene's alts, at least in your mind. I am sure Arwinia, Zadie, Zaeylor, Szrael and Ohana are also Reene. I personally don't know how Reene can afford all those accounts.

Also, just for giggles, here's the log from the part of the altercation that I personally witnessed.

Mikiri asks Soloe, "that's nice. why couldn't you just pay then?"

Mikiri says, "why get an attitude."

Soloe says, "because I don't adhere to demands"

You ask, "Demands?"

Mikiri says, "so you never buy anything from a trader ever"

Soloe asks, "notice how you reacted when I asked 5 gold?"

Mikiri says, "because they demand money first"

You ask, "Who asked for 5 gold?"

Soloe says, "Mikiri"

Mikiri raises her hand.

Mikiri says, "I dunno your union rates sorry."

You whisper to Mikiri.

Oshwoveu asks, "Oh we have unions now?"

The white lynx growls, "Mikiri, when refused, she slept and dragged Soloe to martyrs. When two people dragged him back and mentioned it's not nice to remove him while another empath is healing, she slept all 3, repeatedly."

Ohana says, "Working on one."

Ohana nods to Oshwoveu.

Mikiri says, "now trazier is using his fam to talk crap, shockingly"

The white lynx sits down.

The white lynx growls, "Not that you care, I guess, judging by the happy smiles going back and forth between the two of you, but hey."

Soloe nods to a white lynx.

Mikiri says, "he didn't just 'refuse'"

Mikiri says, "he was a berk about it. now get your fam out if here."

Oshwoveu says, "You are not exacly nice about the request for advance money."

You say to Soloe, "It looks as you though are healed now. Perhaps you had best move on."

You say, "And you too, Lynx."

Mikiri says to you, "he's got a weapon out too."

You raise an eyebrow in Soloe's direction.

Soloe says, "yup, I was hunting"

Soloe says, "that's where I got the wounds that needed healing"

Mikiri says, "don't -believe- you had it out when you got in here."

Anarchist Zaeylor just arrived.

Zaeylor squints.

Zaeylor asks, "Was someone asking for me?"

Soloe says, "don't believe you cared to check"

Mikiri says, "I was hoping you'd help me come remove this guy."

Zaeylor asks, "Who?"

Mikiri points at Soloe.

The white lynx growls, "He did, not that you pay any attention to anything beyond your own giant egotistical aura."

Mikiri says, "please shut up trazier"

Zaeylor asks, "And what reason do you wish for him to be removed?"

Mikiri says, "I tried to charge for healing. he got snippy and rude."

Mikiri says, "And he's having his buddy Trazier talk crap remotely which is hilarious."

Marienn shakes her head.

You say, "Well, he's healed now, so I think it's best if he just leaves."

You say, "He's caused enough trouble."

Mikiri says to Soloe, "next time try a 'no thanks'"

Zaeylor says to Soloe, "You can speak out loud, I'm sure."

Soloe says, "everyone else knows the story"

Soloe shrugs.

Mikiri says, "I'm not asking you again man."

Soloe says, "he asked for 5 gold, I said no"

Mikiri points out.

Zaeylor says, "Mhmm. I see."

Mikiri says, "you didn't say no actually"

Zaeylor says, "She."

Soloe says, "she"

Oshwoveu says, "You did not directly say no."

Soloe says, "she slept me, dragged me to the hospital"

The white lynx growls, "If that's a lady then i'm a beagle."

Soloe says, "when two others told her that wasn't nice, she slept them too"

Ohana glances at a white lynx.

Zaeylor glances at a white lynx.

Mikiri says, "he told me I could pay him 5 gold instead."

Zaeylor blinks.

Mikiri says, "I slept them for dragging you back in here."

Mikiri gestures at Soloe.

Soloe gasps and gives Mikiri a startled look.

Zaeylor says, "That's not really the same as no, sir."

You recognize the spell as Nissa's Binding.

Zaeylor gazes at Soloe.

Mikiri says, "and now I'm sleeping you, again."

Zaeylor says, "That's rather insulting."

You say to Soloe, "And that seemed like a good idea to you? That does sound awfully insulting."

Mikiri says, "because you won't get out."

Lirrag says, "God I love Empath violence."

Lirrag lets out a loud "Huzzah!" for Mikiri!

The white lynx growls, "You dragged someone away while an empath was healing them. You're rude to strangers, random people, and your guildmates. What finishing school did you go to?"

Lirrag praises Mikiri.

Soloe wobbles slightly, then collapses into a deep sleep.

Zaeylor asks, "To whom do you belong, lynx?"

Zaeylor asks, "And why is your master not here to speak for him or herself?"

Raising her voice slightly, Mikiri reports Soloe for violating guild hospitality.

You say, "Sleeping him and dragging him out is a lot nicer than removing him."

Raising your voice slightly, you report Soloe for violating guild hospitality. Two large Gor'Togs enter, grasp Soloe by the arms and escort him from the guildhall.

[Szrael then went outside and woke him up using awaken so he could go about his business. Back inside the Empath guild...]

Mikiri says, "Trazier did smash my gweth. But he'll get it back threefold if I got anything to say about it."

Mikiri says, "course he's hiding from detection right now."

You say, "Ah, I was going to say, why don't we go kill him, then."

You say, "But clearly he's a coward."

Oshwoveu says, "People fight there battles in different ways."

You say, "By hiding like a chicken-hearted schoolboy? Hst."

The white lynx growls, "Boy, you're quite the piece of work. Start trouble with a crowd, call in your friends to harass them, and generally act like a five year old. Congrats."

After a few more minutes, by general consensus, we all attempted to stop feeding the troll. Mikiri went into the sitting room presumably to avoid the Lynx. It also looks to me like Trazier was the one hiding, since Mikiri was trying to find him but could not. Also, he doesn't have a lot of room to call her out for using avoids when he was doing exactly the same thing. She might have gone to meet him for a WIZARD'S DUEL if he had asked, but it looks like he was running away. Szrael and Mikiri even mentioned going to try and kill him and he didn't take either of them up on that offer.

Mikiri was a little brusque at first, in my opinion, but the victims here seemingly returned her rudeness swing for swing and don't deserve any sympathy at all as far as I'm concerned.

Saying, "Five gold to heal you" is one thing, but being mocked and told that the Empath should have to pay them for the privilege of healing is much ruder imo.

I didn't see much from Soloe that seemed to scream out for any removal or otherwise negative attention but I'm assuming that's because that log is missing any interactions prior to him being healed. If not, well it's their guildhall they can do as they like, whether or not I myself condone it. I will admit it has at times seemed rather militant from some logs that have been posted recently.

As for Trazier... if you run your mouth and insult people you deserve what you get. Funny how the person that does the most complaining is the one that made their bed and refuses to lie in it. I almost believed your story of injustice too buddy and was willing to give you a chance, next time I know I for one will know better.

Yeah, that log is post-Trazier removal, which cuts out a lot of stuff that happened beforehand.

Shockingly, Trazier misrepresented what went down before that. If I had a log of that bit I'd post it; the interaction in a nutshell though was "I'll heal you for five gold" and Soloe replying with "Why don't YOU pay ME five gold for letting you heal me" which is what started the thing and eventually got him slept and dragged to the hospital.

The others got slept and dragged to the hospital for going off with insults and dragging him back in from outside.

As an aside: I had Miki a long time before I had Cael. It was my first character when I got back to DR. If this was about alts or anything, why exactly would I come after you and try to kill you with my crappy 50th circle Empath? Wouldn't I be gwethsmashing and attacking you with my 80+ Moon Mage that I already know I can kill you with? But that would make too much sense I guess. Clearly this is part of my master plan. Clearly.

Also, I <3 Sark and I will destroy you for hurting her.

And how exactly am I supposed to do that? I've had people start arguments with me before, i've had people be mean to me before, what i've not had before this, was just random_empath_02 take great offense at my saying 'The dead ain't outside the gates?' and tag-team remove me with another empath in the span of 3 seconds.

I've (obviously) had empaths saunter into the guild, start a fight with me, then go to remove me, but you know what? That's only twice in the many many years the system has been out. So alt or not, she was obviously bending to mikiri's unheard whisper of 'lol remove this guy i gonna attack him outside' or words to that effect.

Again, show me the crap dished out. Protip: there was none. I treat people as they treat me. You show me respect, you get respect. You pop out of nowhere to torment me because one of your friends started some garbage with me? You get it back. People like IDONS with a stable of alts are what really turned me off to the game to begin with. It's all but impossible to try and RP in a world where either alts, or friends of friends of family members of second cousins of a moron start trouble with you out of nowhere because you verbally ran circles around their attempt to argue/debate with you a month prior.

Yeah, I thought about setting the story straight, but you saw how long a post it took to call her out on her lies, and to be honest, I don't think everyone in the guild who wasn't scripting wanted to hear it, so I just generally listened and added in a few bits and pieces, because it was painfully obvious when you two showed up, it was just to back up mikiri and not give a flip about what was done.

And a lol at YOU. Once you removed soloe, I stopped feeding YOU , the troll trio. And you kept nattering at the pet who basicly ignored you, and just kept watching, though there were repeated attempts to goad me into more conversing, I know the 'mob mentality' when I see it.

It doesn't matter if 3 people are wrong in a situation, if they giggle and cackle and agree with each other and pat each other on the back, they can lie and pretend they're in the right, and if they do it convincingly enough, the mob will grow slowly.

Step 3: Fail.
Step 4: Try to RP the alt with the problem is the one doing the locating.

One was a moron not worth responding to anymore, and the other (crazy or not) was a s'kra. Person asks 'Anyone healing in here?'.
Empath nods at person.
Empath touches person.
Empath says, '5 gold'.
Person looks surprised, goes 'what?'
Empath repeats, '5 gold'.
Person sighs.
Person says, 'Anyone ELSE healing in here?'
Empath2 starts healing person.
Empath says, 'You could say that a little less rude' (I love the double standard. She can be snippy but gods forbid anyone ELSE comes within 500 miles of crossing THAT line with HER)
Person says, '5 gold' (Hilarious. Him telling her she can pay 5 gold if she wants him to say 'no thanks' instead)
Empaths sleeps person.
Empath drags person away from Empath2.

Trouble begins.

So there, re-read it if you must, you seem horribly confused as to what exactly took place, even when you were standing there for the after-party.

There was no Trazier removal(Maybe a first attempt by mikiri, also on soloe, and also on the cleric, who then gwethed when nobody present cared to be #2, maybe because THEY SAW WHAT WAS GOING ON, but I digress), but cloud it up with more of your lies and deception if you feel the need. When it became painfully obvious you were not going to go outside, and were going to call for help, that's when I said "Seeya 'round", and you rolled your eyes, and I walked out.

The gwethsmashing that happened after was just a moment of brilliance when I went 'Hmm... I bet the safety ward won't prevent this... and it's been less than 5 minutes since the message went out... and she DID use it to call in friends to harass us more... Let's try it'

You're either a liar or just incredibly dense. I mean, to the point that light and gravity tends to warp around and towards you.

You just have wildly inaccurate misinterpretations as to what goes on. What soloe said to you is exactly what you said to him.. '5 gold'. There was no "PAY ME TO HEAL ME RAR" like you insinuate. His way of saying 'no' was 'Any OTHER empaths healing in here?' and to you, that was 'rude'. And you tell him he should say 'no thanks' instead. And HE tells YOU to pay HIM 5 gold if you want HIM to say " NO THANKS ". He does this how? I already told you, by saying '5 gold' which is what you said to him.

How in the nine hells did you NOT understand this?

Here's 'going off with insults'. I drag him back, say it's mean to the other empath who was healing him. The cleric nods and agrees, saying 'That's kinda rude' or words to that effect. Maybe you scared him off, because after you slept him and made removal attempt #1 for no real reason, he left, and was at the cleric guild later on when I stopped by.

The gweth goading makes me feel you're just looking for an excuse to do so. Another reason to ignore you. I think you need to relax. A lot.

Between massive walls of text and the tone of your posts which drip with their own insults, profanity, and jabs at my personal real-life religious associations and beliefs, you are taking this way, way too personally and seriously.

Seriously, step back and calm down. Some of the stuff you've said, over a relatively minor in-game conflict, is totally unnecessary.

And this is why you fail. Faced with the truth of the situation, you fall back on 'Well i'm obviously right because THIS GUY is the one who is saying what really happened!'.

And what does being me have anything to do with it? You and some other people either like or dislike me because I don't take a heap of bull lying down and say 'MORE PLEASE!', but instead, stand up for myself or others wronged.

I'm not going to be talked down to by anybody. I don't care if they're an elected official, a forums troll, or super popular in the game.

Just you wait until Soloe swings by to confirm all of what I said. And if by some miracle, YOU'RE right and I somehow TOTALLY MISSED the part where he says "How about you pay ME 5 gold for the HONOR of healing ME?", i'll both appologize to you, and leave the realms for a period of no less than 6 months.

Sound like a wager you want to take? What'll you offer if/when it comes out that you're just a narsisistic troll who horribly misinterpreted him telling you to pay him 5 gold to say no nicely? I'll settle for a public (or board) appology to Me, Soloe, and the cleric.

It's better for a post to be low or no content, right? Where the sig, which is limited to 100 something characters, is longer than the body of the message? But fine, if that's all the trolls respect, have it your way.

You're leaving out a bit. Also, the herbs burnt up were ones I had planned to leave on the shelf, but since you and another empath were annoying me, I decided to do that instead. As for not 'being respectful' to Qoln, I could tell the way you two greeted each other that you were obviously friends. I could imagine a few whispers going between you two, and i'm sure when healing was offered, if accepted, it would've now been Qoln who asked for money up front, so I decided not to even bother giving more than a basic acknowledgement.

You're absolutely right, Qoln would have demanded payment up front. But you're wrong, Qoln has no friends.

In fact, I'm amazed at how nice Qoln was that evening. He did not once try to kick you out of the Infirmary. It must've been one of my poorer days RPing Qoln or, depending on how long ago that was(my memory sucks), it may have been I was still feeling out his RP. Come back to visit him now, I'm sure that you'll dedicate at least 3 walls of text to me personally.

I was sure nobody wanted to read any of the entire other group of people's random chatting and messing around, and the scroll from me healing myself.

Ohana was the only Empath in the infirmary previous to your scene (obvious via perc health) and I did not cut any of the interaction between you and Ohana, which was what was really relevant here.

You close your eyes, drawing all your thoughts inward, and then slowly reach out to sense the life essences of those around you...
You sense:
The presence of Trazier.
The presence of Laniea.
The presence of Cords.
The presence of Deanna.
The presence of Siay.
Roundtime: 7 seconds

Oh, and looking back through the log, there was no whispering between Qoln and Ohana. Good job making assumptions about people you don't know.

Trazier mentioned the "unheard whispers" from his previous empathic interactions, and now this... I think he's just a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Either way, I do enjoy his ravings if only for the entertainment value they provide.

Reene's counter-arguments tend to be well organized, thoughtful, intelligent, and believable. Even though I don't always agree with Reene, she does put together a nice rebuttal.

I've just always tried to make it a personal policy not to whine in public as Trazier seems to be doing, nor air my dirty laundry or conflicts with anyone, and certainly never bring OOC forum arguments IG. It is after all, just a game. Play it and enjoy it for what it is... or not.

I think RP'ing a character of this nature can be fun. However, you must be prepared to react to valid RP responses. For example, if my character were to witness such an act against an empath in their guild, he would not react kindly. I suspect most people's characters would react much in the same way.

As a result, how can you complain or argue against a negative reaction from your stated RP in such a situation? Good luck.

Sorry to bring up a old thread, but this brings up an issue, why can't familiars be removed from the guild? It seems like this should be fixed if possible.

Also it demonstrates two things, some people feel Empaths should be subserviant, submissive and grateful for whatever they are given, rather than treated as skilled professionals who provide a necessary important service to others at fairly reasonable set rates generally. The other being that a few War Mages seem to have very destructive pyromania.
