Empath Magic 3.2 Bugs 07/28/2016 04:00 PM CDT
Heal is not working correctly. Some Empaths report its healing less than expected (possibly due to difficulty changes). However, it's also on the high end of casts healing a great deal more than it should.

You gesture.
You twist the mana streams of your Heal spell in a chaotic motion, inciting them into unpredictable patterns.
The internal wounds on your nerves appear completely healed.
The internal scars on your nerves appear completely healed.
The internal scars on your tail appear completely healed.
The internal wounds on your tail appear completely healed.
The internal scars on your tail appear completely healed.
The external scars on your tail appear completely healed.
The external wounds on your right leg appear completely healed.
The external scars on your right leg appear completely healed.
The external wounds on your left leg appear completely healed.
The external scars on your left leg appear completely healed.
The external wounds on your tail appear completely healed.
The external scars on your tail appear completely healed.
The internal wounds on your right leg appear completely healed.
The internal scars on your right leg appear completely healed.
The internal wounds on your left leg appear completely healed.
The internal scars on your left leg appear completely healed.
The external wounds on your right arm appear completely healed.

Another possible bug: the change log says Awaken should be just Warding now. But it's actually just Utility. Not sure which is wrong (the change log or the spell's setting), but one of them is.

Hmm just as a point of reference, I believe that Devour is supposed to work off very similar coding to Heal but it still is always going with 4 locations even with a capped cast. I mean I won't complain if this is the change Melete mentioned a long time ago about potential changes to Heal and Devour to make them better...

Raesh or someone else already fixed the HEAL spell issue. It was not intended.

I think something may have gone wrong with the fix to Heal. It's now healing quite a bit less than it was before 3.2. Before, I could cast at 60 (15 + 45 from cambrinth) with 130% potency and have it restore my sight when I've been hit by the Xala'shar vanquisher blinding attack. In fact it would just about completely heal my eyes that way. Now it seems I have to cast it about 3 times at that same mana level to take care of it.

To answer any questions or suggestions in advance about new mana or difficulty levels that others may come up with in an attempt to solve this, the Heal spell, like most Empath spells, did not see any changes to either mana range or difficulty. It's still 15-100 mana and 80-800 ranks required.
