Murulas quest help 01/24/2017 10:23 AM CST

When i came back to the spire from the rift, there was a portal on the spire. After recovering from the stun and attempting to enter said portal it was no longer there. I suspect that portal led to the starfire lake and the last step in completing the quest. Am I wrong in that surmise?
Do I need to go elsewhere to complete the quest or do I need to file a bug report?

Based on your description, it sounds like you went back to the spire instead of going thru the nebulous rift that appears when the puzzle is successfully completed. If that is the case, it is not a bug.
