Tournaments and You 11/02/2006 09:09 PM CST
Those of you that read the Empath folders will doubtlessly notice certain similarities between this post and that one.

Tired of sitting in the guild raising thankless corpses for topazes or not even a thank you? Looking for a bit of a challenge as well as a decent amount of money and the deep appreciation and adoration of everyone you help?

The weekly tournaments in the cemetary are just what you need. We're tired of sitting around gwething for Empaths to come heal our asses and Clerics to rejuv and raise so every week I'm going to post the date and time here in hopes that some of you will show up and help out.

Everyone will be encouraged to throw a few plats into a pot I'll split among the Empaths and Clerics that help heal and rejuv/raise. I will personally be adding anywhere from 10 to 20 plat to the pot depending on how many show up. Yes, I want you guys to come THAT BADLY. You don't even have to be able to raise, but you'll get more money from the pot if you do.

PLEASE COME. We will <3 you forever.

Thank you.

I'll be throwing in 10 plat myself each week.

If I had to wager, I'd say we'll probably have a pot of about 100 plat to split among whoever shows up. If only three people show up, that's not a bad wage for 3 hours of raising or healing.

When are the tournaments?

If I'm around, I wouldn't mind helping out.

Hi.

Next tournament is Saturday (that's tomorrow!) at 4 PM EST.

Please show up and help out if you can and are interested in that big juicy pot of plats. :)

Also, not to be conflictual about it, but we're looking for people that we can pay to do a job. If you want to come by and help out for free, that's awesome and we'd love it and appreciate it and we don't expect anything from you. It's just a nice gesture.

If you're coming for the money though, it'd be nice if you would stay for all the rounds (usually about 3 hours or so) and wouldn't get all exasperated when body after body pours in and we expect healing/raising as soon as possible.

Would be tempting, but...

>Next tournament is Saturday (that's tomorrow!) at 4 PM EST.

That's exactly the same time Bambina has something else going on, and...

>If you're coming for the money though, it'd be nice if you would stay for all the rounds (usually about 3 hours or so)

Couldn't stay that late (tomorrow), and the only reason she'd go would be for the money.

There is always next week. :)

They're usually a bit later in the evening, too. The days vary as well. I'll try to keep this folder updated every time a new date and time gets settled on.

I'm not sure what happened but I slept through it (AGJFSW$%#$**#) and when I got there an hour and a half later no one was there. I'm guessing since Trop was saying something about there being not enough people earlier that day that it was canceled because not enough people showed up.

That's what he gets for trying to have it at 1 in the afternoon for west coasters. >:( But the time was really unusual so next week we'll hopefully have it at a normal time and people will actually be able to show up.
