Bardic scream skill checks? 08/04/2020 03:24 PM CDT

Bardic screams have evolved over the years. With all the various changes to skills and magic could we get a definitive answer (for documentation on epedia) on what skills are checked on the offense side of bardic screams? Do the 3 bardic screams share the same skillchecks or different?

Bardic screams do use mojo: I ran across that while hunting with a bard and using screams to train. Practice breath will extend how much you can use it.

Yes, we have that documented. I'm wondering whether or not Scream Havoc and Scream Concussive use different skillchecks (TM/DEBIL or other) on the offense side or if they're both TM based (or other).

Perhaps we can do some testing to figure this out? I might be in a good place skill-wise to play around with it as my TM and Debil ranks are about 300 ranks apart. If you have any recommendations on good testing methods, let me know! Otherwise, I'll post if I have any success.

At first glance, I am guessing Havoc checks Debillitation and Concussive checks TM, which makes sense.

I am consistently getting apocalyptic hits for Havoc and lower range hits for Concussive against the same creature where my TM ranks are on par for them and Debil outclasses them.
