Attracting Animals, Here Fishy Fishy Fishy! 12/28/2014 09:41 PM CST
I brought this up a few years ago, but now that I'm back I'm going to bring it up again.

There's a common trope for fantasy princesses, particularly Snow White, to have such a beautiful voice that it attracts woodland creatures like rabbits and songbirds to her. Or rodents and pigeons, as in the movie Enchanted. There's also the link to the sirens and other mythological creatures that would lure people (usually men) to their deaths with beautiful songs (and scantily clad women/mermaids/sirens/monsters).

I know this was previously represented in Siren, but I'd like to put in a plug for some sort of special ability that gives a nod to this trope.

What exactly would it do? Too bad Animal Lore is gone. And I recognize that as a Survival Tert Guild, adding a buff to Outdoorsmanship might not be high on the list of priorities for the Bard Guild. Especially since the skill includes so many non-animal areas involved in crafting through mining and foraging.

Would it even be possible to just boost fishing? :D The Bard calls out "Here fishy fishy fishy" and they start leaping ...

Mostly joking, inspired by Sesame Street (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUusX1Js6R0)

Hm, maybe it's more for Performance and comedy (inspired by salmon cannons on John Oliver https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9qA8c-E_oA)

>Lupdels calls out in a [baritone] voice "Here fishy fishy fishy!" Within seconds, a [gar] flies out from the side of the room, smacking him across the face.
