Requesting songs 08/08/2005 10:29 PM CDT
I'm an empath lookin for some good songs to sing. I've seen lots of songs about bards in here, but I'm lookin for some others such as booze songs, empath songs, parodies, and other humorous songs. If anyone has some they'd share I'd appreciate it. Either email em to my play.net address or post em on here. Thanks in advance!

I have a song about an empath. This is something I wrote after an actual episode happened long ago:

He was a mage, he had a goose,
A creature magic-wrought,
Familiar for mage?s use,
Without will or thought.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Without will or thought.

One day he met his empath friend,
She healed him of his bruises,
A halfling to her very end,
She didn?t like the goose.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
She didn?t like the goose.

The mage, he didn?t care much,
But goose surprised them
By giving her a look, a touch,
And tugging on her hem.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
And tugging on her hem.

`I think,? goose said as mage gulped,
And stared in dismay,
`I think,? goose said as empath blanched,
?That you shall call me ma?am.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, you shall call me ma?am.

The mage, he shook his talisman,
But still went on the goose,
?Too bad for you, m?dear man,
But best you turn me loose.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, best you turn me loose.

The mage, he rubbed his weary eyes,
And pinched himself to wake,
Still hoping, as it was wise,
That this was some mistake.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
That this was some mistake.

The goose just laughed at him goose-like,
And still continued on,
?From now on I am on strike,
And not your beck and call.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
No, not your beck and call.

Amazed, the mage, he bowed to her,
And answered, ?As you say,
?To your desire I?ll defer,
?And gladly I?ll obey.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, gladly I?ll obey.

?Well, in that case,? the goose went on,
?I have another wish,
?Familiar of my very own,
?So very mageish.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
So very mageish.

?The halfling, I shall think, will do,
?And empath is a plus,
?So don?t you make to much ado,
?And come with me, you lass.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, come with me, you lass.

The empath blinked in disbelief,
And stomped her furry foot,
?How dare you to give me grief,
You, fluffy talking food??

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, fluffy talking food.

?I am my own,? the empath said,
?I wander where I please,
?I will not be a goose?s maid,
?Not till the oceans freeze.?

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Not till the oceans freeze.

?Ma?am, please, ? the mage beseeched the bird,
?Look elsewhere for you needs.
?It truly would be too absurd??
The goose ignored his pleas.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
The goose ignored his pleas.

The halfling scared to her toes,
And mage with shaking hands,
Were quite confused, and no one knows
Where could the story end.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Where could the story end.

Alas, the goose just got too tired,
Asleep beside the wall,
Who thinks that mage a moment tarried,
Has barely sense at all.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, barely sense at all.

The goose since never came to bicker,
Being under mage?s control,
The empath hides, and can?t be quicker,
From any geese and all.

O-la-la-la-la-la,
Yes, any geese and all.
