So since this update went live, I'm finally able to get the full effect of the spell (just barely!) for the first time. I did some testing with the no-hiding effect today, but just wanted to confirm that everything is functioning as intended.

So the spell DOES:
-Prevent hiding in the caster's room
-Prevent sneaking into the caster's room
-Prevent the activation of invisibility within the caster's room
-Prevent the use of the HUNT verb within the caster's room

However, one big loophole that I found was having somebody activate invisibility outside the room, and then entering. The spell doesn't prevent them from entering the caster's room while invisible, nor does it reveal them from concealment once they've entered.

I'm not really sure how far the spell's effects are intended to reach, but figured I'd post my findings just in case. Thanks again for all the recent updates and attention to the guild.

I was not able to duplicate Noopin's report of preventing hiding in the room. It was at the same mana level, with pretty much the same skill, and both of us had the utility mastery feat.

The spell at 25 mana seems to take a GREAT deal more mana than it did during the 3.1 spell preview. I added some feats per the suggestion of Skaen, and it is manageable now, but essentially just cost 3 more spell slots. I'm hoping this isn't intended.

I used to sing it at 25 mana all the time during the (3.1) spell preview without issue.

It did as of a few weeks ago. You have to prepare it with enough mana to unlock the tiered effect, though, IIRC. Something like 13 or 14 mana I think. And it takes a couple pulses for it to kick in both when you start it and in a new room if you move rooms.

i have it at 20 and things still spawn and come in (warlkin) and I get the messaging that -- according to epedia -- should prevent creatures from spawning.

Warklins might have a special spawning script that's bypassing Sanctuary.

There was an update to warklin spawn a month or two back to make them spawn more. Maybe it wasn't just a turning of the dial up to a higher setting, but a mechanic on top of standard spawn mechanics that isn't taking into account Sanctuary?

I just tested with super spawny gargs/skunks and 15 mana, and it's definitely completely preventing them from spawning. I also tested with warklin, which are above my bard's skill considerably, and they do spawn. I wonder if it might be a skill check or stat contest.
