I know this was adressed a while ago but I can't remember the facts. When someone outside of the group gets nailed with either resolve, or wolves. they have HUGE offensive penalty for how long? and why? It doesn't seem to happen to everyone. I call it the "Rubber weapon syndrome" because they complain they can't hit anything for a certain duration, close to 15 min or so. Does it matter how many pulses they get hit with? or guild? or what?

I usually tell them to go buy some discipline. I already understand the song quiet/loud thing. That aside, whats the facts on this "Rubber" issue?

Thanks in advance to any facts on the thing.

I have no idea, but I wish I could get a pinpoint on what exactly causes it.

Anyone that gets hit by a fear enchante will suffer some debuffs. Depending on how badly they failed, the debuffs can be fairly substantial, but shouldn't be violating the caps. I'll double check to make sure something isn't breaking somewhere, but the penalties are intended for fear enchantes as a lingering effect even after they recover from the initial shock. Yes, this applies to AEWO as well.

Did you ever manage to find that bug where someone hit with Resolve/Aether Wolves could have a debuff lasting several RL days?

Just a side message Galren... I don't know if you changed your last name to Rippentrop or not, but you're listed on the Ratha register as Galren Norim... Saw that yesterday.

Dang, when did this happen? For what it's worth, I've only ever had it happen to others for a few minutes.

Thats no bug. It is well within global caps and should become an easier thing for us to achieve. :)

Thanks,

Soon I'm going to be pushing my Intelligence to 60 and Charisma to 80 if anyone would like to test to try get this effect figured out.

I'd like to be able to reproduce the effect on a regular basis, but so far it has happened at random for me.

A Cleric debuff lasts like... ten minutes with a completely successful cast? I've never sat down with a watch and timed Malediction, but that's the general area.

Are you actually suggesting that a rather large debuff to your combat skills that basically requires a GM assist to fix is within global caps?

It was a joke.

Thanks Dart.

So far I've seen it last with a paladin ( I am going to ask his stats) nearly 15 min. About the average really. Give or take 5 mintues.

If only I could remember the quiet/loud addition.

Memory is a terrible thing to loose.

You can sing the rage and help them get back to normal quicker. Unless they have "fixed" it anyway.
