Why I can't play Drums of the Snake with my left hand with a one-handed instrument in this scenario is confusing to me.

>play drum

A soft whistling indicates the escaping of excess mana from your enchante.
With a snap to your wrist, you pick out the first beats of a catchy rhythm upon your stamping stick.
>
You sense a tiny amount of mana slip away from you.
>
You stop performing Drums of the Snake since your hands are too torn up to play.
>health

Your body feels slightly battered.
Your spirit feels full of life.
You have an ugly stump for a right arm, some minor abrasions to the left arm, an ugly stump for a right hand.

You feel fully attuned to the mana streams again.
>glance

You glance down to see a stamping stick in your left hand.

The game considers us all to be right handed, so it likely only checks the right hand (though I've not peeked at the code, so that's just a guess).

I'll see whether that can be addressed, though.

I've played Enchantes with my left hand and something held in my right on various occasions. In fact...

>wield kat
You deftly remove the katar from your raekhlo.
>get s stick
You get a stamping stick from inside your duffel bag.
>play drum
With a snap to your wrist, you pick out the first beats of a catchy rhythm upon your stamping stick.

You glance down to see a katar in your right hand and a stamping stick in your left hand.

(You are performing the intro of Drums of the Snake.)
You feel yourself swaying to an internal beat that hums with the natural rhythm of nature itself as you perform "Drums of the Snake".

You know, that just hit me...

E-mailed Dart, and he said it may be a matter of just too much injury in general (said before investigating, so it's certainly not gospel).

He's gonna look into it, though.
