OK, it's a bit too 'country' for me, but it's a brilliant song, "Troubadour" so I just enjoy it anyway - George Strait released it this year. The last lines of the song are really all I have to say.

"I was a young troubadour when I rode in on a song,
I'll be an old troubadour when I'm gone."
