Ael'tharaxus is a fancy dragon 03/28/2011 11:01 PM CDT
So, I'll leave the recounting of dragon stories to other folders, but there was a nifty RECALL for us tonight!

> l Ael'tharaxus

You see Ael'tharaxus, a Dragon.
Around the size of a two-story house, the deep red scales covering his body are streaked with jagged slashes of dark gold. Though vaguely similar in structure to a mainland S'Kra Mur, the dragon's large snout has a much fiercer and firmly regal bearing, grey eyes gazing out with the arrogant confidence of superiority. Enormous, leathern wings fold up against the scaly back while a thick, muscular tail that is again the length of the serpent's body slowly sways behind him.

Ael'tharaxus's majestic form is pristine and uninjured.

Though your journeys and studies have not often mentioned true dragons, the tickling at the back of your mind suggests you might be able to recall something.

>recall Ael'tharaxus

You recall that dragons are nigh-mythical creatures, due to the isolation they prefer and the draconic guises of the Heralds Eerayn, Glacis and Sildua. Seeing one is a rare treat, but not without precedent.

In addition to the qualities given to them in folklore, the flying, fire-breathing lizards also have a poorly understood connection to the land. The few scholars that have studied dragons note that their power and temperament are influenced by the health and weather of the domain they claim for their home. They are sensitive to, or at least discriminating of, the supernatural "purity" of their domain as well, leading to sometimes violent antipathy with holy men, Moon Mages, sorcerers and Necromancers.

There was a little more to the recall. It's on Elanthipedia.

As a bard, you can use SONG to list the enchantes you know.
You have learned Dragon's Breath [db] from a scroll and must maintain at least somewhat less than half your normal attunement to keep it.
