PRACTICE Makes Perfect! 04/23/2006 11:49 PM CDT
Heyo!

As Bards, we have a wide variety of abilities, and sometimes we forget what we actually have available. To help with this, I will be adding one post a week to this folder to serve as a reference to our many abilities. No secrets will be revealed here, although you may find a few friendly suggestions and reminders.

And where better to start than with Practice?

The following options are available to everyone:

PRACTICE <sing|stretch|area|parched>

Bards, however, can learn advanced practice techniques. At the time of this writing, there are three advanced techniques available, although they are only taught by the Guildleaders when you meet certain requirements.

The following are available to qualified Bards:

BREATHING -- Steadying breaths to prepare you for a vocal or wind performance.

STRETCHING -- Readying stretches to prepare you for a dexterous instrumental performance.

ASSESSMENT -- A self assessment of your own skills to remind you of how truly prepared you are for a performance.
(Modifiers: Sing, Dance, Play <requires instrument>)

As might be expected of advanced techniques, each of these can have tangible benefits for Bards qualified to use them. If you want to know more about a specific technique, try asking your nearest Guildleader.
