If I meditate runestone it first targets runestones on the ground rather than runestones in my hand - I would think it would first target the one I'm holding if I've just picked it up. But this isn't the "bug" - when it targets the runestone on the ground, occasionally I'll get the message that I've singed my hand, but I wasn't holding the runestone to begin with (note, my hand was without wounds before the runestone exploded):

You cannot help a slight smile as you grind your knuckles into your palm to remove the remaining dust.

Again, this messaging showed up when I meditated on a runestone that was lying on the ground.
