The IF hit messaging...needs a replacement 02/18/2008 07:40 AM CST

Hi, the messaging we would get when our BMR was completely overwhelmed really made testing a lot easier.

I'm running into a situation now after the concentration changes, as near as I can tell, where ice patch min prep + 1 mana (7) not only gets through my BMR but snaps my leg when I'm not dancing from mages around my circle.

Yes, I do realize they could be specially trained ice patch ninja mages...

I can't tell if it's because they're completely overwhelming my BMR somehow or if something is out of whack. Having no messaging makes it a lot more difficult and is just weird, to me.

Something like...

"DUE TO THE AWESOME MIGHT OF <mage name> YOUR MAGICAL RESISTANCE IS SWEPT AWAY LIKE THE SWADDLING CLOTH OF AN INFANT" would be great.

Well, since I was the one who cast at you with 7 mana, after the tourney... Ill post my stats so a GM can copy us to do some testing.

Honestly, if there's any fear of smithing competition, it should be from nutzo warrior mages like Ndin who train every weapon and put in impressive hours in the forge. -Aveda
