but this just seemed odd. my newbie trader was not given ANY trading exp as a new trader, and was not asked for it to circle, nor was she asked to learn any other lore to circle. shield seems to count as a weapon for newbies, but not for older traders <will test this with my older trader>- my newbie was asked to train 1 weapon <shield> but could not learn any weapon in rats. but as soon as she trained 3 ranks of shield, she wasn't asked to train weapons anymore.


She will try to train a weapon in frogs. Was getting beat up now in rats with a shield stance <evasion 100/shield 80> but not parry <evasion 100/parry 80> <opposite of my exper training newbies in prime/plat>
