I think I remember hearing that it would be possible to hide your last name once the last name mechanics were fully in. Is this already possible? If not, is it still planned?

Hiding your last name is not only already possible, it's incredibly simple and can save you a little money.

To hide your last name, go to geneaology office and DON'T give the clerk any money, then the clerk WON'T give you the option to choose a last name.

Voila! Instant hidden last name! Plus, you then have the added benefit of not being restricted in terms of your choice of last name. Indeed, you can even CHANGE your hidden last name at any point, anywhere, for FREE!
