Has the puzzle to get into the shard Locksmith changed? I tried it 3 or 4 times today and had the same result every time (failure).

Went to his brother's place and did the normal thing, but I just got thrown out of the shop entirely.

Really wanted some component pouches, and I haven't ever gotten any NPC except Kilam to dispense them.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure you have to ask him about the right thing before you order. Otherwise, he just punishes you.
