Critter loot tables and obsolete gwethstones 11/30/2016 10:58 PM CST
With the advent of ESP, lasmodi and waermodi gwethstones are obsolete. Any chance they could be pulled out of the critter loot system or replaced with jadeite and kyanite gwethstones?

Can't you still sell them as gems?

For 250 coppers. They're just another near worthless drop like iron nuggets and they can drop inside boxes, further decreasing box value. Getting rid of them also makes sorting out j/k gwethstones more easily when hunting.

Are you arguing to keep them in the loot hopper?

AFAIK gweth stones are in the random loot hopper, which wouldn't interfere with payout from the coins/gems hoppers. I think they should be removed at this point, but doing so will not really have any influence on anything in terms of loot payouts.

This is what I was arguing. No reason to leave them in there at all, but there's little reason to take them out. I feel like the random loot that drops could use a major overhaul in any case (I don't need any more grimy pestles).

Actually, a single stone is 125 copper kronar. They can be combined up to 20, which is 2.5 gold per stack.

Granted, that's more the case of a Thief who will be hitting the museum is more likely to have the sort of number of stones to make combining them worthwhile.

2.5 gold isn't terribly worthwhile, either.
