Urm...Empaths are the ones that heal your internal bleedings...not Clerics. I'd say don't blame all Clerics for the fault of a couple. And like others have pointed out, just keep track of what's going on, and you'll be fine.

The last time I was raised with internal bleeders I wasn't even being healed by an empath and I just mistakenly assumed the the cleric wouldn't up and raise me without me having to say... "There's blood spurting out of my arm! Don't raise! Don't raise!" I was actually waiting in line for a heal when I was raised. Trust me, I'm extremely aware of my state of being when I'm dead. (don't really have anything better to do now do I?) I don't blame all clerics. But I've had enough bad run-ins that I care not to be near the clerics guild.

Might be as I'm wrong,
You've but scars when mem'd then raised,
And you die bleeding?
I had understood,
The gods restored life to stay
not some cruel ruse.
(Translation- I've never seen someone restored to life, even without healing, and died after because of scarring. It restored you to the minimum health possible to sustain life.
Clerics restore mems out of courtesy, not necessity. I'm gratfeul when they help me but it is not a responsibility of theirs.

>>If one is aware of what's going on and pay attention to when they get your memories and wards, you won't even have to have a cleric that your ready to depart, you'll know. The messaging is there if you read it.
I was replying to the fact that they were basically saying the cleric is always right. I'm happy to mention it when I'm not ready to depart, but going off what I read earlier (rule number 4) they don't want that.

When you DEPART you come back with just scars. When you are resurrected you come back with ALL your wounds because you don't go visit Hodierna. Therefore, if you have bleeding wounds, and are resurrected (which used to happen for almost all deaths), you are at 99% vitality...and then you die a vitality death because you lose that 1%.

<<there isn't any RP involved- just prepare and cast, prepare and cast.>>
"OR from the point of view of the Cleric, CREATE the RP. Healing is often a thing which ends up being a "fast as you can" job, and many people could say it involves no RP, especially where people just end up squelching the majority of the output anyway. But simply adding one sentence where you interact with the patient/corpse in a unique way can do WONDERS for RP.
Also, as Gizella mentioned, what wouldn't be RP about a Cleric working extremely hard to restore life to those around him? I mean, yes, it's not extremely marvelous type event bringing RP, but a cleric working hard certainly doesn't go AGAINST RP."
Since I mentioned the RP issue, I will reply to your post- as a cleric I know how to RP rituals with corpses. I have done some, I will admit immodestly, beautiful resurrections with emotes, prayers etc. But, frankly, considering my audience was never very appreciative, and is even less so no, I am less inspired. Rejuvenation is a much simpler process than resurrection, so I don't do as much anymore, though sometimes I do a little more, especially if its quieter and I am away from the Crossing Guildhall.
But during an invasion, its a choice between RP and being a team player. When I have reported to a triage site during an invasion, with the intent of helping out, if there are 20 corpses with memories rotting away, I start speed rejuvenating. When resurrection was availible I would have to pace myself to be able to resurrect too. Of course, I can make a choice to RP during an invasion- but frankly- I would add to the rules posted earlier- how to be a cleric doing triage during an invasion- Don't do extensive RP then. The scroll is so nasty, and what most are trying to do is clear the clutter. Save the RP for away from the triage point. Folks will probably flame me for it, but when you are speed triaging corpses, the faster the better. And yes, once someones memories are set, I am onto the next corpse, and I don't come back.
Of course, I am just to the point where out fighting during the invasion is a viable alternative. I can leave all the screaming behind if I chose.

Thanks.
I'm so used to a world where clerics don't raise anymore I plumb forgot.
Maybe we don't come back with everything intact.

I think that I should have automatic consent against anyone who thinks they should have consent against anyone that does something to help their character. Thanks.
