Moneybelt bug 06/07/2020 12:33 AM CDT
I learned that moneybelts do NOT prevent theft of the money inside of them unless they are closed. Considering moneybelts are deliberately sold as protection of coins, this seemed a bit off to me. At the very least there should be some very big warnings that the belt must be closed to work. Although note that it's pretty inconvenient to have to keep it closed because you have to open it in order to check how many coins are inside.

Further, it appears that stealing from someone with a moneybelt results in taking ALL the coins from the moneybelt, meaning possibly hundreds of plats at a time. This seems definitely not intended.

For the testing I witnessed, the victim appeared to gain some protection while holding coins in the usual way, but without those coins the entire contents of the moneybelt were taken.
