This concept still alive? 03/18/2015 09:59 PM CDT

Just curious if this is still a thing? Because well I have a few ideas on some things. Just not entirely sure how all this works.

Yep. I wrote some books a few years back and they got added to the game after a while.

Cool was interested in it since if I keep writing bard songs (some fun yet simple ones) at this rate wouldn't mind being able to have them sold sorta in game for people to sing. Since most end up being story like and I get a few requests for some of em every now and then.

Complete off-topic aside to the moderators of this forum:

This forum is incredibly weird in threaded view. Every single post is its own thread, so long conversations like "Here we go" and "Same sex relationships" are incredibly tedious and difficult to read. Even the ones with only a couple posts are annoying to read. New conversations like the one this post is in are behaving correctly, so I suspect something weird happened with the conversion from the legacy forums to the updated threaded forums. Is there anything that can be done to remedy it? I haven't found another forum with this issue yet.

Once upon a time, there were songwriting contests, and the winners were put into some of the song scrolls in game. However, that hasn't been done for many years. Still, GMs Evike and Raesh are fairly active and focus (a bit) on Bards, so you could ask over on the Bard forums.

You could also probably get stories published, or even songs, as long as they are in book format.

Yup. And to do that, you just drop a line to dr-libraries@play.net with a copy of your manuscript/song/story/etc.

They're pretty good at responding (at least I've always had good luck with it) and can generally tell you what might be lacking or needing improvement to better your chances. I've not submitted anything for review in a long time though.

Someone with the time should bind together a lot of the freefloating Armifer forum lore in a book.
